Studio Spotlight: MADabolic Jupiter Celebrates One Year in Business

All

This June, MADabolic Jupiter celebrates one year in business. Business partners Josh Werner and Zach Eggen brought deep roots in the Jupiter fitness scene to their journey with MADabolic. As the duo prepares to celebrate their first anniversary with the MAD Jupiter family, they reflected on their ownership journey:

What drew you to MADabolic?
“We were originally drawn to MADabolic because we were impressed by the programming,” shared Josh, who had owned several fitness concepts in Jupiter, including a CrossFit gym, before partnering with Zach to bring MADabolic to Florida. “We knew we’d benefit from being part of a brand that had already learned to tread water so we could bypass several years of work developing a brand from scratch.”

“A year in, we’re still enthusiastic about the quality of the training program and the culture this concept fosters,” added Zach. “This style of training can be for anyone. Our clients come from various training backgrounds, ages, goals, and passions, but ultimately, the culture here brings like-minded people together. While Josh and I come from a very community-driven product model, we’ve enjoyed that we don’t have to manufacture community within our walls. It happens naturally because there are humans here who share values and train similarly. As a result, the community that has developed here feels natural and authentic.”

Coming from other fitness and business ownership models, what was appealing about a franchise?
“The franchise model offers more structure and greater depth to the brand than you find with other ownership models,” explained Josh. “Having a detailed playbook helps us streamline our efforts and keeps us using our time most efficiently.”

“Before MADabolic, we spent a lot of time programming workouts each week. Now, we can trust in the program design that MADabolic delivers and spend more time building our business and providing an excellent experience for each individual who comes through our doors,” noted Zach. “The Jupiter lighthouse is part of our studio watermark, and over the last year, we’ve come to see that element as representative of what MADabolic means to us in this business endeavor. We always have a guiding light we are moving toward.”

What has helped you see success over the last year?
“We stick to the playbook when it comes to training,” shared Zach. “Our entire team is passionate about knowing our clients and giving them one-on-one attention. You’ll find all of us on the training floor four times per week, which says a lot about the quality of the program and the culture this concept creates.”

“The attention we pay to see our clients as individuals has been critical over the last year,” added Josh. “MADabolic’s approach to training is safe, effective, and more sustainable than what many other concepts offer. We’ve seen this start to click with our client base, and there’s been a shift as they start to appreciate training ‘better’ rather than exercising more. We feel a renewed energy when we reeducate clients on what health and fitness can look like.”

The MAD Jupiter team is gearing up to celebrate its first anniversary with a beach bash in early June. Congratulations, Josh and Zach, on a successful first year in business!
