MADabolic Expands its West Coast Presence with a New Multi-Unit Deal in the California Bay Area

MADabolic, the industry’s first and only strength-driven interval training franchise, is pleased to announce that a new two-unit agreement has been signed to expand the concept’s presence across the Bay Area in California. The units will be operated by owner, Peter Malek – current owner of the brand’s sole California location in Scotts Valley – bringing his ownership tally up to three.

“There’s no one we trust more than Peter to spread the MADness in the Bay Area,” notes Al Mendoza, Chief Development Officer. “He’s flexed notable success and growth within his first year of ownership in Scotts Valley, which undoubtedly foreshadows the success he’ll see across two more units.”

A lifelong athlete and afficionado for sustainable health and wellness, Peter is a true embodiment of #MADlifestyle. Coupling that with his business acumen and work ethic, his first location – MADabolic Scotts Valley – has sustained impressive growth as it comes up on its one-year anniversary in March of 2023. His success in Scotts Valley rightfully garnered him the “Rookie of the Year” award at the brand’s inaugural franchisee conference in Washington, D.C. earlier this year.

Initially founded in Charlotte, NC, MADabolic has 97 studios operating or in development in markets across the country, three of which will be located in the Bay Area.

MADabolic is rooted in strength, structure, and accountability. From a top-notch strength-biased training program to robust operating systems designed to help owners thrive to a team of experts behind the brand, MADabolic provides franchise owners with a blueprint for success in any market.
